Web Design is the process of conceptualizing, planning and building a website layout and structure that is both functional and aesthetic. The combination of visual effects, usability, interaction and content delivers the user experience. The design of a website needs to be visually appealling, but it is the balance between the visual and content aspects that is important. It must convey key messages in such a way such a way that it is seamlessly integrated with the overall design.
We believe in unique web designs. Whilst the use of template sites appears to be low cost and effective, the purchaser should be aware that they will not sufficiently differentiate the brand. Furthermore, using human-centred design methods ensures user interactions are properly considered and provide an optimal user experience.
A new web design is a significant undertaking. Perhaps least understood is content. Since web design cannot occur in a vacuum, content is everything. The content tells a story, which the designer uses to visualise an experience. A unique design is constructed to reflect the message you wish to convey.
There are many considerations in producing a contemporary web design, such as colour use, simplicity, white space and CTAs (Calls to Action).
